SUP Yoga is a combination of stand up paddleboarding (SUP) and yoga.
SUP yoga takes your practice off the earth and on to the water. Floating, flowing, and breathing in a serene setting. Classes are for all levels
What to expect
First, expect that you will be excited. It’s just going to happen, don’t fight it, do not let yourself mistake it as fear. It’s fun. You are on the water so yes, your balance will be challenged more than being on the earth. The boards are very stable and they are there to support you. Of course there is always the possibility that you could fall in. If you are trying and playing then the possibility is even greater. No matter what your level of experience of either yoga or paddleboarding is, the water makes it even playing field for all.
What to wear
Wear whatever you are most comfortable in. Yoga pants and a tank. Shorts and sports bra, bathing suit, or any combination of the two.
What to bring
All you need is yourself. Make sure that you are well hydrated and have sunscreen on. I always have water and sunscreen with me if you forget, so no worries.
